Kiltyrie Cottage

A well established, peaceful holiday cottage in the Scottish Highlands with beautiful views over Loch Tay

Local Area

Kiltyrie Cottage is just off the A827 on the North side of Loch Tay. The setting is surprisingly quiet and peaceful as the road is rarely busy and the cottage is well set back.

The village of Killin is just 5 miles away at the end of Loch Tay. It has a Co-op, Post office and pharmacy, as well a few places to eat and a cafe. There is also a golf course , a park with playground and some lovely walks. The Falls of Dochart are worth a visit, especially after heavy rain.

At the other end of the Loch is Kenmore with it’s little beach. There is a shop and cafe at Mains of Taymouth and the newly opened village shop by Ballintaggart. You will also find a golf course, riding stables and Taymouth Marina.
